As a native born Floridian who has experienced a good amount of real-life Flori-derp moments, I understand the sentiment. But I’ve also seen some incredibly inspiring cultural evolutions happening in parts of this state, and I am very interested in supporting that while learning how we can expand the reach of change.
I love burrowing deeper into the history of parks and communities, giving voice to stories that aren’t heard often enough. More importantly, it helps me to understand where we once were as a society, where we are now, and how much still needs to be done to get where we want to be.
